Depressing blast from the past

So I watched Empire Falls this weekend. And in one scene, there's a featured extra played by none other than Zoe Zanidakis (who? Exactly).

I'm not sure which was sadder: the fact that she clearly thought being an extra in an HBO miniseries made her a big-time movie star, as evidenced by all the mugging for the camera she was doing, or the fact that I recognized her instantly, without knowing beforehand that she'd be there.
