A song for a really, really relieved Friday
So in the comments to my last post, I mentioned this heinous assignment I was working on. Well, it is done. It. Is. Done.
And now, I am going to steal a page from Dweeze's book (Illustrated Field Guide to Weasels, 4th ed.) and give you a song:
"Weightlifting" - The Trashcan Sinatras
I discover the wheel and watch the buildings go by
you talk a little soft, turn off the radio
I just want to hear all the past times
the rushed hours, the endless lives
don't become a burden
say the word and be free
you will find a great weight lifting
easing your mind, a great weight lifting
just leave it behind, a great weight lifting
and you will find a great weight lifting
it's been a lonely winter hibernating away
you need a little sunlight on that face
how long can you stay in the darkness?
dust round the empty nest?
you could make you way out
if you lay down the load
you will find a great weight lifting
easing your mind, a great weight lifting
leave it behind, a great weight lifting
you will find a great weight lifting
just leave it behind, a great weight lifting
and you will find a great weight lifting

Dood. The 4th Edition? Not good pics, if you ask me. Find the 3rd Edition or, in a pinch, the 5th Edition.

Hey now. I understand that Jo has also written a book.

Good lord. Is this something I would have seen or is it something new today? Either way, I'm sure I know who you're talking about. (Is it wrong that keep wishing for Darwinism to speed up and weed out all the morons?)
And Dweeze, excellent job hitting that one out of the park.

it's new today. I'm sure you'll see it when you get home. And yes indeed, Darwinism is related.

Okay, come ON. You know this is killing me. Send me an email or something.

Yeah, I caught it too. By the way, it's one of my favorite books, certainly on my top five list of best books ever. :) Good job Jolene!
And congrats on finishing your assignment. I'm so jealous of all of you people finishing things.

Dear GothMog:
Thank you dear. Now I can toil away in peace. Well, relative peace, anyway.
(And yes, I'm posting rather than emailing you back, because emailing is a right pain on the damn Blackberry because my frickin place of employment won't let us get our personal mail.)
And thanks, Iggy! :)
And speaking of email, I should send you one. But I will do that later.

Hello all. I took the liberty of editing a few of your posts. Hope you don't mind. :)

don't mind at all. even though I was trying to be specifically vague. And worked hard to be so. *sniff*

If it helps, I rarely finish a damn thing.
And. I hope I'm not the only one who realizes what a lame post this is. Unacceptable.
*smoochies*

Goth, I know, I know. But you know me, the queen of paranoia.
And Wheeze, are you talking about your comment? Because you could never be lame. If you're talking about my post, well...yeah. :P
